Stirling Bathroom Case Study | A Victorian Charm
Tucked within a peaceful mid-Victorian home in a sought-after corner of Central Scotland, this bathroom has been reimagined with care and a deep respect for the house’s original character. The beautiful cornicing and proportions guided every decision, allowing the new design to feel as though it has always belonged.
Traditional at heart yet full of subtle personality, the space blends soft pastel tones with natural marble texture and considered detail. A hand-built arch leads into the shower, where a delicate border of pastel tiles wraps around the showering space. The tumbled marble floor in black and white adds quiet pattern, while the vanity, framed artworks, and antique mirror bring warmth and individuality. Gentle pink-shaded wall lights cast a warm glow, highlighting the craftsmanship throughout.
The result is a bathroom that feels both timeless and fresh - rooted in its Victorian heritage, yet full of charm and life for the years ahead.
A special client testimonial:
I am just so delighted with the work done. You did a fabulous job of designing the bathroom. It is stylish and luxurious, looks great and is an absolute pleasure to use. Suffice to say both projects have been much admired. But I also can’t not mention the team, every single one of you. Endless helpfulness, professionalism and extremely high standard work. The team certainly are - besides the design and products - a differentiating factor. Anyway it was a pleasure to work with Braco Designs again and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result.
